Gwen, U.K., 2/13/22: Oh my goodness – Peter’s fantastic property right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter was amazing. So clean and central and quiet – we didn’t hear a sound from outside. The area was perfectly placed to explore the beautiful Budapest – Heroes’ Square, the outdoor ice rink and thermal baths, the zoo, cruises on the Danube, the beautiful parliament buildings and Buda palace/Matthias Church on the Buda side… all just amazing. We even took a trip out to the Buda hills and visited the Children’s Railway which was incredible. So much to do in your beautiful city – would recommend the walking tours! We had my eight year old daughter with us and couldn’t believe how much there was to do with kids in the city. We would highly recommend Peter’s apartment to anyone – he is a brilliant host and couldn’t have been more helpful! Thanks Peter!

We followed his advice on several activities and were never disappointed. Getting in was easy and the location of his spot is perfect. Overall it was an amazing experience for us!!!!

Karl, USA,  9/25/19: The apartment is a beautiful classic European spacious apartment, with nice wood floors and high ceilings.  It has all the comforts of a modern apartment, a fully equipped kitchen and contemporary artwork, many of it by local artists, on the walls.  Furnishing are comfortable and good quality.  There is a nice balcony as well.  The location is also great, nearby to countless restaurants, bars, breweries and sites.  Even though it is in a lively nightlife district, the apartment stays quiet with the bedroom (and its soundproof door) near the internal courtyard, not overlooking the street.  It is easily a place one could stay for a long weekend or a month and feel refreshed and adventurous.  Peter was a great host and his manager Anna was always available and very friendly.  Budapest is a great and authentic city to visit, retains some of its Eastern European grit, and has tons to offer and explore. We will definitely be back and look to stay here again.

Ann, U.K., 8/19/19: Peter’s apartment is outstanding. It is perfectly located in Budapest to enjoy the wonderful Jewish quarter with an amazing array of restaurants, cafes and pubs close by. There is also a large Spar shop within a few minutes walk from the apartment. I can’t recommend this apartment enough – it has everything you need to make your stay in Budapest a memorable one. It is really spacious, bright and airy and tastefully decorated. Peter’s recommendations of local restaurants proved very useful. The lovely little balcony was put to good use both morning and evening- very relaxing watching the world go by, sipping a glass of wine! And even though you are at the heart of the Jewish quarter, the actual street is really quiet. As I say – just perfect! Definitely stay in this apartment.

George, USA, 12/5/18: Laszlo’s Classic is situated in probably the most eclectic of Budapest districts, that is undergoing heavy transformation. The neighborhood provides an excellent glimpse into the diversity of many cultural layers coexisting: the mysteries of the Jewish quarter with the gritty communist past, the glitzy glamour of the New York Palace with the many bars frequented by young tourists and locals alike. You will certainly not get bored and you’ll visit many cities simultaneously while there. The apartment is very well-equipped, clean and spacious and paintings from contemporary Hungarian artists line the walls, which I found to be a very nice touch. The host’s representative Anna was very nice, informative and took care of many last minute complications with a big smile.  Their attention to detail is exemplary and inventiveness boundless. So in sum: if you are looking at experiencing the charm of bourgeois ages bygone, but stay fully connected to the vibes of this up-and-coming district, look no further and book yourself into Laszlo’s.

Josef, USA, 11/5/18: We very much enjoyed our month of October stay in your apartment. Central location was great, as we walked or used the public transport system to go anywhere in Budapest.  The apartment was clean, modern, well furnished and accommodating. Your choice of local food and beverage goods for stocking the refrigerator prior to my arrival was excellent and well worth the incidental cost. Would like to visit again in the springtime perhaps after next year.  I will keep you well informed in advance of any plans for a future visit. Thanks again for all your help and hospitality. Well supplied, and Peter’s manual has plenty of helpful phone numbers and restaurant suggestions. Why deal with crowded hotel rooms when you can stretch out and enjoy the space? Ute, Germany, 4/16/18:  Large apartment, nicely decorated. Everything is there from dishwasher to washing machine and to welcome there is Palinka. The apartment is centrally located but quiet. Everything is within easy reach: supermarket, metro, restaurants u.v.m. We did not miss anything.

Petra, The Netherlands, 8/1/17:  This spacious Budapest apartment was our home base for a one week visit to this marvelous city. Peter’s friend Diana welcomed us and showed us around the apartment. All rooms were spotlessly clean and the linens and towels were generously supplied. Although the kitchen is well-equipped, we chose to discover the Hungarian cuisine in a few of the many restaurants in the neighborhood. Shops and supermarkets are within walking distance and the city center is only a few blocks away. Thank you Peter for providing valuable information ahead and thank you Diana for arranging transport to the airport in the middle of the night. We will most definitely recommend your apartment to any of our friends who are planning a trip to Budapest.

Veronica and Ricardo, USA, 9/21/16:  We want to tell you how we miss your condo in Budapest, we go through flashbacks very often and regret that our time was so short, but definitely intense.  Your condo reminded us of our a Victorian house in San Francisco, with spacious rooms, high ceilings and hardwood floors.  We found the location ideal for us to walk, which we did a lot of to the river and along the way discovered some other great treasures, like shops, restaurants and Synagogues.  So after spending a full-day taking in the sights it was good to come to a place that felt like home in a neighborhood where we could pick up a good inexpensive meal at many places near the condo.  The people were always friendly and spoke some English, which was helpful.  We hope to have another opportunity to return someday and stay longer.  Thank you again for all your kindness and guidance.  We were privileged to be your guest and we felt like family in your place.

Maureen, USA, 5/3/16: Laszlo’s Classic Budapest apartment is a large, airy, comfortable space in a great location. The building is a bit funky but the apartment is clean, comfortable and very well appointed, from toiletries to cooking utensils and supplies from olive oil to spices. In spite of being located in a bustling neighborhood, it’s 4th floor location (with a good elevator) makes it completely quiet at night. We enjoyed the small balcony out front and the spacious living/dining area for relaxing. Budapest is gorgeous, and we could pick up the metro or taxis just a block away. Anna was extremely helpful and speaks perfect English. I highly recommend it!

Laura, USA,  4/28/16: I spent almost a week in Laszlo’s Budapest apartment and loved it. The manager, Anna, greeted us with lots of fresh fruit, and teas, coffee, and honey for the morning. Our flight had been several hours late, and it was late at night by the time we arrived at the apartment, so it was great to have some food to snack on immediately, especially because we had two kids with us. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, with high ceilings, fabulous chandeliers, and lots of great art on the walls. It was stocked with everything we needed, including cooking utensils (not that we did much cooking!) and a washing machine. I especially loved the selection of homemade fruit brandy that Peter leaves for guests to sample. Half a block away is a convenience store, and there’s a great supermarket with a bakery and other nice shops selling cheeses and meats just a block further. Peter has lots of suggestions for activities and places to eat in the guest manual. I highly recommend following up on some of these. All of the meals we had out were outstanding and surprisingly cheap. There’s so many places to check out within walking distance of the apartment, and taxis are also cheap if you want to go further. All in all, we had a great time and we’ll definitely stay at Laszlo’s again if we’re ever back in Budapest.

Laura, Toronto, Canada, 10/13/15: We visited Budapest for 10 nights in October 2105 and stayed in Peter’s (Laszlo’s) apartment. The apartment is bright, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need to be comfortable. It is also very conveniently located to wonderful restaurants, and the City’s superb public transit system. Peter and his local representative are helpful and work hard to make  sure you enjoy your holiday. They even make available a Hungarian plan iPhone!

Lou, USA, 9/30/15: This apartment is a very good deal at its price.  It is spacious, with high ceilings and substantial rooms.  The dining room really is a dining room.  The apartment  is in very good condition, and is well equipped in terms of kitchen supplies, toiletries, and quality linens.  The manager and the owner (who was in Budapest when we visited, but lives in the US) are extremely helpful in terms of what to do in Budapest and in offering anything that the visitor might need.

When i arrived i was greeted by very friendly Anne, who was very friendly and helpful, she showed me around what turned out to be a very impressive five star apartment. The place itself is very spacious, breezy and tastefully decorated. It had everything you could imagine needing and more. Location is perfect because although it was beutifully peaceful and quiet, it was also fantastically located for all the local bars and restaurants, which within a short walk.
